Had a great test day at Castle Combe Media Day, 18th March 2023. Gave the car a good pre season shake down. First time around the circuit and it didn't disappoint.
First few sessions we had to take it steady, with various mechanical tests to do. In the final session, I was told, all tests now complete and I could just go out and enjoy, although still to take it easy.
During the day, we had a mixture of rain and sunshine. The last test was pretty much dry, so could really enjoy the track, had a great final run out.
The car looked great with the Zzoomm full fibre broadband logos, really look forward to racing in their summer party at Donington in June.

This year we have chosen Doing it for Dan as our charity. The charity was set up in memory of 11 year old Daniel Climance. Daniel was kind, caring and loved all kinds of sport. The charity in his name helps young people to achieve their sporting dreams in Wiltshire. With racing in the Castle Combe Championship, we hope to raise further awareness and support for such a great local charity.
Massive thanks to James Oldfield, team owner of Oldfield Motorsport for preparing a great car, I know he has worked tirelessly to get the car race ready for 2023. I am delighted to be racing with Oldfield Motorsport again this year.
First race 2nd April, Donington Park, then back to Castle Combe for 10th April, Easter Monday!!
