Lucas says a big thank you to Max Coates and the High Row Motorsport team. Lucas had a great day with the Britcar Team on 23rd Feb 2024 at Donington in changeable conditions, having the opportunity to experience the impressive Renault Clio Cup car at high speed in dry and very wet conditions
Lucas had a very successful season in the Oldfield Formula Ford in 2023, and after three seasons in Formula Ford he has decided to make the move into closed wheel endurance racing for 2024.
Lucas said, 'The Britcar Trophy is a great opportunity to get to grips with endurance racing and continue my racing career, the day with the team really taught me a lot about driving a front wheel drive race car, Max's in car coaching was fantastic, his knowledge and experience was invaluable on the day.
I really like the High Row Motorsport team culture and dynamics and I am getting really excited for the 2024 season to start at the end of March at Donington'.
Max said, 'Lucas acquitted himself to the Renault Clio Cup car quickly. He posted competitive lap times in his first day in the car and I’d expect to see Lucas battling for podiums and race wins throughout the year. We’re excited for Lucas to race with us and we look forward to working with him through the season'.
Partnership Track Day Opportunity
With partnership support Lucas is set on racing in the first Britcar Trophy race event at Donington on 30th March this year.
Along with Lucas' promotion of partnerships through his own social media channels, racing in the Britcar Trophy also offers social media coverage to over 25,000 followers, motorsport publications and online live coverage, with over 128,000 you tube followers, with a total reach of over 200,000 race fans.
